“I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching” (2 Tim 4:1-2, ESV).
What a joy, privilege, and responsibility it is to preach the Word of God. I have instituted the process of writing out my sermon manuscripts in preparation to preach. All God-called preachers try to be faithful in proclaiming the gospel of Christ. I have no claim of unique revelation. God has revealed himself thoroughly and sufficiently through the Scriptures. I seek to faithfully proclaim God’s revelation of himself through the preached word. I do not consider myself gifted any more than any other faithful preacher. I pray these manuscripts based on biblical revelation would encourage you. I would love to hear your comments.
